2nd Atrium Talk in Straelen with the author Julia Franck


 

By invitation of the Europäisches Übersetzer-Kollegium and Kunststiftung NRW – Foundation for Art and Culture NRW – the series "Atrium Talks in Straelen" is being continued with Julia Franck and her translators.  

  

From 30 June to 4 July 2008, author Julia Franck met the translators of her novel "Die Mittagsfrau": Jonila Godole from Albania, Marcelo Backes from Brazil, Ljubomir Iliev from Bulgaria, Pilar Estelrich from Catalonia, Latica Bilopavlovic from Croatia, Aino Roscher Kristensen from Denmark, Piret Pääsuke from Estonia, Raija Nylander from Finland, Elisabeth Landes from France, Maia Mirianaschwili from Georgia, Anthea Bell from Great Britain (and the Commonwealth),  Ágnes Almássy from Hungary, Daphna Amit from Israel, Matteo Galli from Italy, Birute Lipaviciene from Lithuania, Goverdien Hauth-Grubben from the Netherlands, Ramona Trufin from Romania, Linda Östergaard from Sweden, Belén Santana López from Spain.
